Privacy

We collect as little as we can. Free packs need no account. You only need one to suggest audio and vote.

In short

  • No tracking, and no cookies unless you sign in.
  • An account holds your email address. What you suggest and your votes are linked to it.
  • Your email is never shown on the board.
  • Delete your account any time.
  • Emails you send us are used only to reply, then deleted.

Visiting the site

Browsing the site sets no cookies and has no tracking. We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics and with Umami, which we run ourselves. Neither sets cookies or stores personal data.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which handles the technical details needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy.

Your account

You need an account only to suggest audio and vote. It holds your email address: no name and no password. To sign in, we email you a code. Supabase, which runs sign-in for us, sends it through Resend.

Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in. It's the only cookie we set, and only the site's server reads it. Browsing sets none.

Suggestions and votes

What you suggest and the votes you cast are linked to your account. Your email address is never shown on the board, and only our team sees who sent a suggestion. The board shows the details you gave (the title, link, creator, description and age, topic or language) and nothing about you. A note meant only for us stays private.

Our emails

Sign-in codes are sent through Resend.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the Account page. Deleting your account removes your votes and your email address.

Suggestions still waiting for us are deleted. Every other one stays, on the board, turned down or merged, with no link back to you. That includes any note you wrote to us.

Logs and links

We keep no personal data in our logs or in the links we make.

Emailing us

If you email us, we use your email address only to reply, and delete it within 90 days of our decision.

Children

The site is for parents. We don't ask for anything about your children, and an account asks only for your email address.

Some entries link to a creator's own site or shop. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

One-tap add

When you tap Add to my Yoto, you sign in on Yoto's own page. We never see your Yoto password.

Yoto then gives us a short-lived permission to add playlists to your Make Your Own library, and to see their names so we never overwrite one. Yoto's screen describes this permission as view, create, edit and delete, because that's how Yoto groups it. We only ever create new playlists.

We use the permission once, to upload the pack and create the playlist. It's encrypted while the add runs, can't be renewed, and Yoto expires it within hours. The record of the add, including the encrypted permission, is deleted within 3 days. We don't keep your email address, name or anything else from your Yoto account.
