Questions parents ask

Short answers to what parents ask us most.

Are there Islamic Yoto cards?

Some, but not many. Muslim creators make Qur'an, du'a, nasheed and story audio for Yoto, but it's spread across Etsy, publisher sites and word of mouth, and it's hard to find. We gather what meets our standard in one place, by age and topic, and we're turning more of it into packs you add to your Yoto library in one tap. Browse everything we've checked.

What does "checked against our standard" mean?

Before anything is listed, we listen to it and check it meets three rules: vocals only, true to the sources, and made by Muslims. Each entry's page shows the date it was checked. Read our standard.

Do the nasheeds have music?

No. Everything we list is vocals only, with no instruments or percussion, the daff included. Sound effects in stories, like rain or birdsong, are fine. Nasheeds, voice only.

How do I add a pack to my Yoto?

On a pack that's ready to add, tap Add to my Yoto and sign in on Yoto's own page. The pack goes into your Yoto library under Make Your Own, usually in under a minute. Play it from the Yoto app, or link it to a blank Make Your Own card. A free pack needs no account here.

What ages is it for?

From babies to children of 9 and over. Every entry is tagged with the ages it suits: 0–3, 3–6, 6–9 and 9+. Start with ages 3–6.

Is Little Ummah Cards part of Yoto?

No. Little Ummah Cards is an independent site, not affiliated with Yoto. We list Islamic audio from Muslim creators and point you to where you can get it.
